Anne Markham Bailey
Anne Markham Bailey (she/her) is an American poet and author. She teaches creative writing and book arts to incarcerated people through the Alabama Prison Arts and Education Project at Auburn University. Anne is a teaching artist with UAB Arts in Medicine. Her first book of poems, Cold Stone, White Lily (2011) was published in the UK by the Friends of Julian in Norwich. Other works include her chapbook Nancy Marguerite’s Chopin (2018), and The Daring Egg (2020), a picture book for children. In addition to her work as a poet, Anne is a certified Nature Therapy Guide.
