Karen Lea Armstrong
Karen Lea Armstrong (she/her) is a writer and former family physician from Timmins, Ontario, Canada. Her short fiction, poetry and nonfiction have been published in multiple magazines including Ars Medica, Broken Pencil, The Antigonish Review, Synkroniciti, and Grain. Her first novel, Drownproofing, was published in November 2023. Karen lives with her husband and a lovable but untrainable rescue dog, and is on a mission to rid the world of misplaced apostrophes.
