John Irving Clarke
A published writer and poet, John Irving Clarke was born and raised in Carlisle, in the far Northwest of England. He has an MA from Leeds University, taught High School English before tutoring Creative Writing Adult Education groups, and worked online for the Workers’ Education Association. John’s accomplishments include tutoring at the Leeds Trinity University Writers’ Festival, organizing the Annual Red Shed International Poetry Competition, and publication in the 2024 Fate anthology of the Hammond House International Literary Prize.
