Sarah Coffer

Sarah Coffer is a parent, writer, linguist, and language teacher at Portland Community College. She is a neurodivergent recovering addict whose work often explores the intersection of trauma and mental disorder with meaningful spiritual experience. In her free time, she enjoys toiling alongside her comrades toward humanity’s collective liberation. She is a 2026 McCormack Writing Center (formerly Tin House) Winter Workshop participant.
