Lizz Schumer is a writer, editor, and educator living and working in Brooklyn, NY. She is the author of “Buffalo Steel” (2013) and “Biography of a Body” (2021) and her work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Rumpus, Ploughshares.com, Entropy Mag, Ghost City Review, Punchnels, Manifest-Station, Minerva Rising, and many others. She currently serves as a senior editor at Good Housekeeping Magazine, teaches journalism at New York University, and provides individual writing coaching and manuscript editing at the New York Writing Room.
